Beyond the directors
Field teams, paralegals and volunteers.
The directors are supported by field coordinators and paralegals working in the districts where cases arise, and by more than a thousand volunteers involved in the rehabilitation of evicted and displaced labour families.
Much of the work runs through networks rather than through this organisation alone — the National Campaign Committee for the Eradication of Bonded Labour across 19 states, and the Working People’s Charter, a network of more than 150 organisations of informal workers.
